Sandisfield’s Historically Significant Homes

Local historian Ronald Bernard, and consultant to the Sandisfield Historical Commission, Bonnie Parsons, will review with interested homeowners and others the results of the recently completed official survey of the town’s architecturally and historically significant assets. Some one hundred surviving antique houses and buildings were surveyed and submitted to the Massachusetts Historical Commission. That body will certify which properties are eligible for consideration for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. It is estimated that at least 75 properties will qualify for the Register, including about 15 on an individual basis, and the rest as part of honorary historical districts.)
