The Bill Crofut Arts Fund for Children provides scholarships for young Sandisfield residents to pursue their interest in the arts. The grants are also open to teachers of the arts.
BILL CROFUT ARTS FUND GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES
The Sandisfield Arts Center established the Bill Crofut Arts Fund for children of Sandisfield to foster arts training for the children of Sandisfield. The fund was established as a memorial for our neighbor, friend and talented musician Bill Crofut.
WHAT IS ARTS TRAINING?
Whether in art, music, dance, or theatre, arts training includes but is not limited to: lessons, coaching, camp, workshops, master classes, educational trips, books, supplies, instruments, visiting artists, after-school classes and performance-related expenses.
GRANT AWARDS
Grants range from a minimum of $100 to a maximum of $500. Requests for larger sums will be considered under special circumstances.
WHO MAY APPLY
Children up to the age of 18 who are residents of Sandisfield. Teachers, instructors and organizations are also encouraged to apply for expenses directly related to arts training for Sandisfield children.
HOW TO APPLY
Write a letter describing the nature of your request; how much is required, for what purpose, for how long, etc. Include your background, dreams and ambitions. Please limit length of letter to one page and include your name, address and phone number. Applications should be mailed to the following address:

DEADLINES
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Request for summer funding must be received by June 1st and applications for the school year must be received by September 15th.
