Built in 1839, the Sandisfield Art Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but is also fully modernized. Our building has two floors, each with 800 square feet of space. The building is equipped with a lift to accommodate handicapped or mobility impaired individuals. The lower level has two handicapped restrooms. There are no kitchen facilities but downstairs there is a sink with hot and cold running water.
The building is available to rent from April to December, subject to availability. These spaces can accommodate wedding receptions, holiday parties, birthday celebrations, memorial services, exhibits and more.
The Arts Center has a large stage on the second floor, a sound system and theater-like lighting. Recent weddings held upstairs in the main room accommodated 100 guests with additional family seating on the stage.
Parking can accommodate approximately 65 cars.
We are located at the intersection of Route 57 and Hammertown Road, easily accessible from anywhere in southern Berkshire County and northwest Connecticut (directions).
We are delighted to assist you with your event and look forward to hearing from you so that we can share pricing rates and details.
