Artist Statement
Born and raised in rural Connecticut I was always out in the woods and in nature. I always appreciated the natural world, but never had a way to express my love for nature and the things we pass by on any given day until after graduating from college and getting my first camera. Once I had a camera I was able to capture the little things that most people don’t always see while walking down the street or walking through a garden. I began to find that the natural world I always appreciated had a lot more to offer than I had thought. The camera opened my eyes to more than I had seen before.
With my Nikon D7200 camera body and a variety of lenses including a Nikon 105mm f/2.8 for macro and a Sigma 50-500mm f/5-6.3 for birds I’ve become the hunter hunting for beautiful photos.
