The Sandisfield Arts Center has put out a “call for artists” for an outdoor sculpture exhibit in a private field located on Route 57 in Sandisfield Center.  The sculpture show will be open on weekends during the month of July.  A COVID-safe opening reception will be held on Saturday, July 3 from 4pm-6pm.

The field belongs to Liana Toscanini, former Sandisfield Arts Center president and current Executive Director of the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires.  Toscanini suggested the exhibit as a safe way to fundraise for the Arts Center this summer.

Sandisfield is home to several sculpture artists, many of whom will be featured in the exhibit.  The field, which is approximately 5 acres, can comfortably house over two dozen sculptures with plenty of room for social distancing.  A golf cart will be available to make the field accessible for those who might find the walk too rigorous or uneven.

If you’re interested in exhibiting, please download and complete this form with bio and photos and email to Gallery chair Jess Cofrin at gallery@sandisfieldartscenter.
