The Stamp Collection by Val Coleman
July 9, 2017 @ 4:00 am - 1:00 pm
A play in six scenes set in Val Coleman’s childhood home in southern Illinois. Full of tenderness and humor, it is a beautiful play. It’s a story of pacifism, faith, and sanity interrupted by the wars of the 20th Century. The play takes place in an overcrowded antique shop owned by veteran Shirley Trimble and his wife Olga, who suffers from hemophilia. Their neighbor Beverly Reynolds tells the story, both as a 10-yearold boy and an aging narrator. Ben Luxon directs the Sandisfield Players in this production.
The Sandisfield Players are sponsored for the 2017 season by Brockman Real Estate, Chapin Fish, Broker – Owner.
