Gala Annual Dinner – Honoring Ben Luxon

We lost our beloved Ben Luxon – maestro of the Sandisfield Players, director, producer, actor, and of so many Sandisfield Arts Center events over the last decades – on July 25, 2024.

This evening will celebrate the incalculable contributions that Ben made to our Arts Center — not just plays (creating the Sandisfield Players) but reciting poetry, inviting world-class musicians – his friends – to perform here, and so much more.

The evening will include a delicious dinner prepared by our master chef Adam Manacher and clips and remembrances of such performances as Our Town, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Stamp Collection.

The picture is from last year’s dinner, and captures both how the Arts Center is transformed for our galas and a bit of the spirit of camaraderie these events engender. Two Gentlemen Folk, the DVD with Ben Luxon and Bill Crofut shown at last year’s dinner, will be available for purchase,
