Artist’s Statement:
“My paintings are personal explorations of the world in which I live—the simple and mundane parts of daily life that often go unnoticed. I am inspired by my longtime love of gardening, animals, and the beautiful landscape of Western Massachusetts.
I enjoy the challenges of transferring our three-dimensional world onto a flat plane, and negotiating the realms of color and form to create a visually pleasing image, and fortunately for me, I never tire of the process.”
