From Church to Synagogue to Arts Center: Book talk and slide presentation by Ron Bernard

Join local historian Ron Bernard, author of Sandisfield Then and Now 1762-2012 and The Little Brown Church of New Boston, Mass., and the Lives of Its Pastors, for a book talk and slide presentation on his third book, From Church to Synagogue to Arts Center: Celebrating 185 Years of Community and Culture. 

The book tells the comprehensive story of a special building that was home to Baptist and Jewish congregations and is now a community cultural center launching its 30th season.

Nearly two years of original research, interviews, and writing reveals new information and fascinating biographies of 55 individuals who played important roles in the life of Sandisfield’s most venerable community asset, a National Register of Historic Places treasure.
