About the film:

For thirty-five years, Nora Pancowski (Karen Allen) has been the postmaster of Colewell, Pennsylvania. When the USPS decides to close her office, she must choose whether to relocate for a new position or face retirement in Colewell.

We are fortunate that Karen Allen is a Berkshires neighbor and will be on hand to give us insights into the making of this fascinating and timely film. Karen was last at the Sandisfield Arts Center for a showing and discussion of her wonderful,, award-winning film based on Carson McCullers’ short story, A Tree, A Rock, A Cloud, which was partially filmed in Sandisfield.

For the health and safety of our audience, our performers, and our volunteers, we are now requiring that all people age 12 and over who enter the Sandisfield Arts Center be fully vaccinated and wear a mask that covers both nose and mouth.
