Season Opening – Anni Crofut’s Family Cabaret! – Sold Out

A hilarious, romping evening of madcap mischief, song, dance, comedy, fiddle, yo yo, ukes, jazz and more. This family-friendly variety show provides a professional community theater experience replete with talent, hilarity and soul. More than 25 actors and performers will grace the stage.

Eight hilarious sketches led by Master of Ceremonies Anni Crofut will precede eight acts by such local luminaries as Yo-Yo comedian John Higby, Tom Truss’ Spontaneous Combustion improv ensemble, the Berkshire Ukulele Group, fiddle-player Maggie Holtzberg, Cabaret singer Linda Mironti, and solo jazz guitarist Lucas Solarzano, among others. Cabarets in years past have seen appearances by the likes of internationally renowned opera singer Benjamin Luxon, Comedienne Alison Larkin, slam poetry champion Taylor Mali and the dance company of Moving Arts Exchange.

When a community cabaret takes place in a creative hotspot populated by talented local residents — many of whom are also professional performers — the result is an evening that reaches new standards of family entertainment.
