One Night Stand (A Love Story) Is a modern day
trilogy that spans a tumultuous 50 years, from the summer of Small
Town USA circa 1918, with America’s entry into World War One; it moves forward to New Year’s Eve 1942/1943 in Times Square and concludes, very late on a sultry summer night in 1968 as two lonely strangers meet on a darkened New York City street and we see their lives change before the sun rises.
Three poignant stories of how love remains the same, even as the world continues to change.
The terrific cast includes Kristin Grippo, Gray Simons and Frank
Gioia with music performed by singer and guitarist, Doug Schmolze.
Larry Zingale is an artist who also writes plays.
His play Kate & Bill won the 2016 Berkshire Playwright Festival and was given a reading at the Unicorn Theater in Stockbridge. One Night Stand (A Love Story) had two very successful readings this past fall, at the Diana Felber Gallery and the Deb Koffman Studio.
