SUMMARY:Introduction to Drawing - Session 1 of 3
DESCRIPTION:Photo: Michael O’Rourke in his studio \nIn this three-session class series\, participants will develop observational skills through the act of drawing. Each session will work from a simple still-life setup. Techniques introduced will include: contour-line drawing with pencil; linear perspective; conveying volume through shading using charcoal\, graphite and pencil; combining contour-lines and shading in a single drawing. \nMax 10 students\, age 16 and up. All materials provided \nSessions in this 3-session series on 6/20\, 6/27\, 7/11. $75 fee covers the 3-series class. \nMichael O’Rourke has been a professional artist for fifty years.
